Infosys Ltd. and HDFC Life Insurance Co. are among the key listed entities which will be declaring their fourth quarter results on Thursday. Here's a look at the earnings projected by analysts.
Infosys Q4 Earnings Estimates
According to Bloomberg analysts, the company's revenue is set to see a 0.9% rise to Rs 42,144 crore compared to Rs 41,764 crore in the previous quarter.
The earnings before interest is expected to fall 2.4% to Rs 8,696 crore, as against Rs 8,912 crore that the company posted in the last quarter. The margin is estimated to fall by 71 basis points to 20.63% against 21.34%.
The net profit is likely to decline by 1.3% sequentially to Rs 6,716 crore, according to analysts. The company had clocked in a net profit of Rs 6,806 crore in the previous quarter.
The key highlights to watch out for is the revenue weakness and partial wage hike that is set to negatively impact EBIT margin of the company. The EBIT margin of the company is likely to decline by 100-150 bps this quarter due to wage hike.
HDFC Life: Q4 Earnings Estimates
Bloomberg analysts predict the annual premium equivalent to rise to Rs 5,420 crore against 4,727 crore in the fourth quarter of the previous fiscal. The estimate shows a 14.6% uptick in the APE of the company on a year-on-year basis.
The value of new business premium is estimated to be to the tune of Rs 1,400 crore compared to Rs 1,231 crore in the year-ago period. This indicates a 13.7% uptick from the previous year.
The VNB margins are expected at 25.83%, down 21 basis points as against 26.04% in the year-ago period.
Other companies like Jio Financial Services Ltd., HDFC Asset Management Co., Indosolar Ltd., Mahindra EPC Irrigation Ltd., Tata Elxsi Ltd., National Standard (India) Ltd., Omnitex Industries India Ltd., Sanathnagar Enterprises Ltd., Advik Capital Ltd., and Devinsu Trading Ltd. are also expected to announce their March quarter earnings on Thursday.
