HDFC Bank Q3 Results: Date, Time, Earnings Call Details And More

India's largest private sector lender, HDFC Bank is set to report its financial results for the quarter and nine months ended Dec. 31, 2024, soon. Ahead of the results, the bank released its business update for the third quarter of FY25.

HDFC Bank Ltd. posted a 3% year-on-year growth in total advances, reaching Rs 25.42 lakh crore for the October-December quarter of fiscal 2025. The private lender's deposits grew by 15.8% year-on-yar, totaling Rs Rs 25.63 lakh crore during the third quarter. The bank's Current Account-Savings Account (CASA) deposits rose by 4.4%, amounting to Rs 8.72 lakh crore. In the previous quarter, HDFC Bank's gross advances stood at Rs 25.19 lakh crore, and deposits were Rs 25 lakh crore.

HDFC Bank Q3 Results: Date And Time

In a stock exchange filing on Jan. 16, HDFC Bank said that its board of directors will meet on Wednesday, Jan. 22 to approve the financial results for the October-December quarter.

"We wish to inform you that a meeting of the Board of Directors of HDFC Bank Limited ("the Bank") is scheduled to be held on Wednesday, January 22, 2025 to inter-alia consider and approve the unaudited standalone and consolidated financial results of the Bank for the quarter and nine months ending December 31, 2024," it said.

The bank further said in a separate filing that an earnings call with analysts and investors has been scheduled for Jan. 22 at 6 p.m., where the senior management of HDFC Bank will discuss the Q3 results.

In the past five sessions, shares of HDFC Bank Ltd have remained nearly flat, declining 0.55% on the NSE. In the past month, however, the shares have plunged 7.66%, while over the year it has risen 14.60%. At 9:50 a.m. on Monday, HDFC Bank shares were trading at Rs 1640.75 apiece on the NSE.

HDFC Bank Q2 Results

HDFC Bank reported a 5% YoY increase in net profit for Q2 FY25 at Rs 16,821 crore, up from Rs 15,976 crore. Net Interest Income (NII) grew by 10% to Rs 30,114 crore from Rs 27,385 crore. However, asset quality showed slight deterioration, with the gross NPA ratio rising to 1.36% from 1.33% in the previous quarter and the net NPA ratio increasing to 0.41% from 0.39% in Q1.
