- The party adopted a resolution on how the state will combat and prevent the spread of coronavirus, and adjust economic goals
- It passed a national budget proposal to be submitted at the Supreme People's Assembly
- Kim's younger sister Kim Yo-Jong was elected as an alternate member of the Political Bureau of the party
