(Bloomberg) -- French President Francois Hollande and German Chancellor Angela Merkel today discussed the situation in Ukraine with Russian President Vladimir Putin, Hollande's office said in a statement.
Hollande is concerned by the growing number of ceasefire violations reported in east Ukraine, the statement said. The French President called for a new four-way meeting between France, Germany, Russia and Ukraine to try to resolve the crisis.
