(Bloomberg) -- In an effort to stem the flow of migrants across the Mediterranean, most European aid to Africa is likely to be directed at the continent's northern countries. That focus is mirrored by other funding sources, but neglecting southern Africa is risky, according to analysis by Bloomberg Economics. Record high unemployment and rising pressure on government spending in South Africa may soon force economic migrants to head north.
