PM Narendra Modi, after landing from Bhutan, went to the LNJP hospital to meet those injured after the blast in Delhi. He met and interacted with the injured and wished them a speedy recovery. He was also briefed by officials and doctors at the hospital.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi reached Lok Nayak Jai Prakash Narayan Hospital (LNJP) to meet the victims of Red Fort blasts.
Prime Minister Modi is expected to visit the victims of the Delhi bomb blasts. He may also meet the relatives of the injured at Lok Nayak Jai Prakash Narayan Hospital and may reach the hospital after returning from Bhutan.
As part of the ongoing probe into the module's activities, Jammu and Kashmir Police detained a preacher from Mewat in Haryana. Maulvi Ishtiyaq, who has been brought to Srinagar, was staying in a rented house within the Al Falah University complex in Faridabad. It was from his home that police had recovered more than 2,500 kilograms of explosives.
Maulvi Ishtiyaq, who will be the ninth person to be nabbed in the case, is likely to be placed under arrest.
According to Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) that collected around 40 samples from the blast site, preliminary analysis suggested that one of the explosive samples is likely to be ammonium nitrate.
A senior police officer, who spoke on condition of anonymity, said that analysis of the dump data showed Dr Muzammil's repeated presence in and around the Red Fort area in the first week of January.
Al-Falah University and its 76-acre sprawling campus in the Muslim-dominated Dhauj village in Haryana's Faridabad district has come under the scanner following the arrest of three doctors in connection with the "white-collar terror module" and the high-intensity explosion near Delhi's Red Fort.

The National Investigation Agency (NIA) several others including senior officers from IG to DSP levels are also going to be involved. The probe, assigned by the MHA yesterday, involves coordination with Jammu & Kashmir, Delhi, and Haryana police to review all case files related to the Jaish module. The agency has strong reasons to believe that these white collar terror module had close connections with the banned terror outfit.
The blast took place in a slow-moving car at a traffic signal near the Red Fort metro station on Monday evening, killing 12 people, injuring many and gutting several vehicles.

Investigators believe Umar Mohammad, the suspected mastermind behind the Red Fort blast, searched for information on the internet about the arrests of his associates, Muzammil Shakeel and Adeel Ahmad Rather, while waiting in his car at the Sunehri Masjid parking lot.
The Hyundai i20 used in the explosion was parked in the lot for over three hours before the blast occurred.

Senior police officers are personally supervising the security checks at interstate borders, including Ghazipur, Singhu, Tikri, and Badarpur. Vehicles are being checked randomly at markets, metro stations, railway terminals and bus stands to ensure that no suspicious movement goes unnoticed.
A senior police officer said that all district units and specialised wings have been directed to remain on alert and increase patrolling in crowded areas, especially near tourist spots, malls and religious places.
The Delhi Police has been put on high alert and massive checking drives are being carried out across the national capital.
Police personnel, along with paramilitary forces, are deployed in large numbers at all the entry and exit points of Delhi. Vehicles entering and leaving the city are being thoroughly checked as part of the intensified security measures, they said.
Another deceased, 22-year-old Pankaj Sahni, drove a taxi in the capital to feed his family in Bihar. His uncle, Ramdev Sahni, said he heard about his death through a phone call from Kotwali Police Station in Delhi.
"He drove a taxi for three years. We were told the back of his head was blown off. The car, a WagonR, was completely damaged," Sahni said while waiting outside the mortuary.

Among the victims was 32-year-old Dinesh Mishra of Ganeshpur village in Shravasti district, who had been working at a printing press in Delhi's Chawri Bazar to support his wife and three children.
His father, Bhure Mishra, recalled the time Dinesh came home for Diwali.
"He was a hardworking man. He wanted to give his children a good education. We still can't believe he is gone," Bhure said, his voice breaking as neighbours gathered to console the family.
Two cartridges, including a live ammunition, and samples of two different types of explosives are among more than 40 samples that have been collected by the Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) team from the blast site near the Red Fort, officials said on Wednesday.
Investigators have zeroed in on a Pulwama-based doctor, Umar Mohammad, who was driving the car used in the explosion that claimed 12 lives, and had alleged links to the terror module busted with the recovery of explosives mainly from neighbouring Faridabad in Haryana.
The Jammu and Kashmir Police took a DNA sample from Nabi's mother to establish the relationship.

The Red Fort blast on a busy Monday evening came hours after eight people, including three doctors, were arrested and 2,900 kg of explosives seized with the uncovering of a 'white collar' terror module involving the Jaish-e-Mohammed and Ansar Ghazwat-ul-Hind and spanning Kashmir, Haryana, and Uttar Pradesh.
Among those arrested on Monday were Dr Muzammil Ganaie and Dr Shaheen Sayeed, both connected to the Al-Falah University in Faridabad. Shaheen was leading the Jaish-e-Mohammed's women recruitment wing in India. She headed the Jamaat-ul-Mominat, the group's female wing.
The Delhi Forensic Science Laboratory has collected 40 samples from the blast site, which include mangled remains of the vehicle and human body parts, and these will be analysed for chemical traces.
While no terror organisation has claimed responsibility for the attack, investigators suspect the involvement of Jaish-e-Mohammed.
Several raids were also conducted at multiple locations in Delhi. The national capital has been placed on high alert with strict vigil being maintained at the airport, railway stations, and bus terminals.
The blast probe has been handed over to the National Investigation Agency (NIA).
