Barbie With A Twist: Mattel Launches Diabetic Barbie

To increase inclusivity among its dolls, Mattel Inc. has launched a brand new barbie and she has Type-1 diabetes.

The toy maker says it collaborated with Type 1 diabetes advocates to ensure that the design of the doll “truly captures the community.”
