Power Cut In Bangalore On Wednesday: Power outages are expected across parts of Bengaluru on February 19 due to emergency and scheduled maintenance work at various power stations. The maintenance work is set to impact areas linked to power stations such as 220kV SRS Davanagere and 66kV Mayakonda lines, and 66/11kV Kumbalagodu, among others.
Bangalore Electricity Supply Company (BESCOM) has urged the public to cooperate and make their plans accordingly. It has also shared the timings and affected areas on its official website.

The 66/11 KV Kumbalagod substation will undergo maintenance work on Feb 19, resulting in electricity supply disruption between 10:00 am to 05:00 pm in the following areas:

Brief electricity supply disruption is also expected in Byrohalli, Ramohalli, Kengeri Town, Bidadi Rural, Devikiran, Deccan Herald, KAIDB 1st phase, KAIDB 2nd phase, Geruplaya industrial area, ISRO, Gonipura, BGS, Kengeri, Brigade panorama, Srirama badavane, Kanminike, Sandeep thota, Chalghatta, MLC compound.
Additionally, maintenance work at 66KV Mayakonda line on Feb. 19 will impact power supply between 10 am and 4 pm in B Durga, Dindadahalli, Naraganahalli, Mayakonda, Bullapura, Kodaganur, Bada, Nalkuda, Hbasapura, Bommanahalli, Bhavihalu, Anaberu, Shankarhalli, Honayakanahalli.
Maintenance work at 66-11kV Yellarbande MUSS will impact power supply on Feb. 19 between 10:30 AM to 1 PM in A.K.Ashram Road, Devagowda Road, R.T.Nagar 1st Block, Thimmaiah Garden, Modi Garden, Military Area, Veerannapalya, Lumbini Garden, BWSSB Sewage plant, Mariyannaplaya, Coffee board L-O, Kempapura, Dasarahalli, Maruthi L-O, Buvaneshwari nagar, Byrappa L-O and surrounding areas.
Power Supply Disruption Between Feb. 19-21
Maintenance work will impact the power supply in K. Bevinahally, Rachapura, Idle, Karadikere, and Dabbeghtta from 10 am to 4 pm from Feb. 19 to 21.
On these days, the power supply will affected between 10 am and 4 PM in Putta madihalli, Lalanakatte, Pura and T kalkere.
Power Outage On Feb. 20
The following areas will be impacted due to power supply disruption on Feb. 20 between 10 am and 1 pm: Manthri apartment, Thalaghattapura, Raghuvanagalli, Gublala, Kuvempu nagar, VV nagar; VV layout, Balaji Layout, Royal form.
Power Outage On Feb. 22
Power supply to the 12th block, 7th Block,11th Block, RGA Infrastructure 1 & 9th A block, 9th B block, Intel and Station auxiliary will be affected between 10 am to 1 pm.
Power Supply Disruption Between Feb 19-25
Authorities have also warned of power supply disruption between 10 am and 6 pm in Malladihalli, Devarahalli, Channagiri, Nalluru and Goppenahalli from Feb. 19 to Feb. 25.
