Stocks To Buy Or Sell: Ajit Mishra's Top Picks For June 17

The NSE Nifty 50 and BSE Sensex extended gains at open on Tuesday as Bharti Airtel Ltd. and Reliance Industries Ltd. shares led advances. The Nifty Defence and Nifty IT were leading gains.

As of 11:40 p.m., the Nifty 50 was trading in the green, 0.19% lower at 24,898.45 and the Sensex 30 was trading 0.17% lower at 81,647.96.

Ajit Mishra, senior vice president of research at Religare Broking recommends these stocks this Tuesday.

Tata Consultancy Services

Ajit Mishra recommends buying Tata Consultancy Services Ltd. at the current market price of Rs 3,496.2 apiece, with a target price of Rs 3,520 apiece and a stop loss at Rs 3,430 apiece.

Out of 50 analysts tracking the company, 36 suggest 'buy', 11 recommend 'hold', and three have a 'sell' rating, according to Bloomberg. The average 12-month consensus price target implies an upside of 7.4%.

Laurus Labs 

Mishra suggests buying Laurus Labs Ltd. at the current market price of Rs apiece 679.85 with a target price of Rs 705 apiece and a stop loss at Rs 658 apiece.

Out of 16 analysts tracking the stock, seven suggest buying it, four have a hold call, and five recommend selling the stock. The average 12-month consensus price target implies a downside of 7.7%.
