Stock Market Today: All You Need To Know Going Into Trade On Nov. 28
The NSE Nifty 50 ended 0.33% higher at 24,274.90 and the BSE Sensex closed 0.29% up at 80,234.08 on Wednesday.

Indices in the Asia-Pacific region were mixed in early trade. South Korea's Kospi rose 0.4% as of 7:14 a.m., after the country's central bank cut its benchmark interest rate. Australia's ASX 200 was also up 0.4%. China's CSI 300 traded flat, Japan's Nikkei and Hong Kong's Hang Seng fell around 0.1%.
A selloff in the world's largest technology companies pressured US stocks, while the latest economic data strengthened expectations for a gradual pace of Federal Reserve rate cuts, Bloomberg reported. S&P 500 ended down 0.38% at 5,998.74, Dow Jones fell 0.31% to close at 44,722.06, and Nasdaq Composite was down 0.60% at 19,060.48.
Brent crude was trading flat at $72.78 per barrel and GIFT Nifty was also flat at 24,321.50.
India's benchmark equity indices continued to gain after a one-day drop on Tuesday and closed at their highest since Nov. 6, led by gains in HDFC Bank Ltd. and the Adani Group shares, which emerged as the top Nifty contributors.
The NSE Nifty 50 ended 0.3% or 82.65 points up at 24,277.15 and the BSE Sensex closed 0.3% or 238.75 points higher at 80,242.81.
Overseas investors remained net buyers of Indian equities for the third consecutive day on Wednesday, while the domestic institutional investors turned net buyers after two days of selling.
Foreign portfolio investors net bought stocks worth Rs 7.78 crore — the lowest single-day buying from the FPIs so far this year. The DIIs bought shares worth approximately Rs 1,302 crore, according to provisional data by the National Stock Exchange.
The Indian rupee weakened by 11 paise to close at 84.45 against US dollar.

Stocks To Watch
Hudco, NBCC (India): Housing & Urban Development Corp. signed a memorandum of understanding with NBCC (India) Ltd. for the development of a 10-acre land parcel owned by Hudco in Noida. NBCC will handle the execution of the project, which is estimated to cost Rs 600 crore.
KEC International: The company has secured an order worth Rs 1,704 crore in its transmission and distribution business from Power Grid Corp. With these new orders, the company's year-to-date order intake has reached Rs 16,300 crore.
Sonata Software: The company has received a multi-million-dollar modernisation deal in Australia from a global company.
Waaree Renewable Technologies: The company has received a term sheet for constructing work for a solar PV project worth Rs 1,233 crore.
Ujjivan Small Finance Bank: The bank has successfully sold its stressed loan portfolio, including a written-off loans pool with an outstanding value of Rs 270.4 crore as of Sept. 30, 2024, to an asset reconstruction company via the Swiss challenge method for Rs 40.6 crore.
PCBL: The Andhra Pradesh government has allocated 116.6 acres of land for the company's chemical unit. The company plans to establish a manufacturing plant in the state with an investment of Rs 3,718 crore.
Natco Pharma: The company has sold land with clear and marketable titles, covering approximately 14.4 acres in Telangana for Rs 116 crore, which includes certain infrastructure costs.
ZF Commercial Vehicle Control Systems India: Promoter Wabco Asia sold a 4.3% stake in ZF Commercial Vehicle Control Systems to institutional investors to enhance ZF Group's flexibility for growth.
Lloyds Engineering Works: The company has formed a strategic partnership with Fincantieri, a global leader in shipbuilding, to collaboratively manufacture high-quality products for the Indian Navy and coast guard.
Godrej Properties: The company launched its qualified institutional placement at a floor price of Rs 2,727 per share. The floor price is at a discount of nearly 4% from current market price.
Ashoka Buildcon: The company has submitted a bid for a project with Madhya Pradesh Poorv Kshetra Vidyut Vitaran, and the accepted bid price for the project is Rs 193 crore.
Indo Amines: The NCLT has approved the scheme of amalgamation between Pious Engineering and the company.
Life Insurance Corp: It has filed an appeal in Maharashtra against an order demanding Rs 530 crore in goods and services tax, including interest and penalty, for fiscal 2020.
Avenue Supermarts: The company on Nov. 27, has opened a new store in Rajasthan. The total number of stores as on the date stands at 383.
Nazara Technologies: The company's board has approved the allotment of approximately 89.6 lakh equity shares at Rs 954.27 each on a preferential basis via private placement, raising a total of Rs 855 crore.

ZF Commercial Vehicle Control Systems India: Wabco Asia Pvt. sold 8.2 lakh shares (4.32%) at Rs 12,465.19 apiece, while Aditya Birla Sun Life Mutual Fund bought 1.6 lakh shares (0.84%) at Rs 12,400 apiece.
