The GIFT Nifty was trading above 23,200 in early trade on Tuesday. Angle One Ltd., HCLTech Ltd., and JSW Energy Ltd. share prices are likely to react in today's session because of earnings and news flows. The GIFT Nifty was trading 15 points or 0.06% higher at 23,293 as of 6:40 a.m.

  • US: NFB Small Business Index — 4:30 p.m. 

  • US: PPI & Core PPI — 7:00 p.m.

  • US: Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City President Jeffrey Schmid will speak at the Central Exchange at the Kansas City Federal Reserve Bank. Audience questions expected — 8:30 p.m.

  • US: Federal Budget Balance — 12:30 a.m.

  • US: New York Fed President John Williams will deliver opening remarks at an event hosted by the Federal Reserve Bank of New York — 1:35 a.m.

As of 3:33 p.m., the Dow Jones Industrial Average and S&P 500 futures rose 0.35% and 0.55% higher, respectively. The Nasdaq 100 future was 0.75% higher.

Market breadth was skewed in the favour of buyers. As many as 2,881 stocks rose, 1,087 fell, and 105 remained unchanged on the BSE.

Rupee weakened by 15 paise to a record low of 86.70 against the US Dollar. The currency trades at 86.61 against the greenback.

Share indices across most countries in the eurozone rebounded from Monday's decline as traders keep a close on bond yields. On Monday, markets logged losses as bond yields in core economies of Europe rose and dollar index strengthens.

The Euro stoxx 50 was 0.94% higher while CAC 40 was 1.10% up. IBEX 35, Spain's benchmark index was 0.66% higher as of 1:58 p.m.

Most share indices in the region were trading lower as concerns regarding monetary condition in the US continued to weigh on sentiment. The Nikkei 225 and KOSPI 1.41% and 0.10% down, respectively as of 7:14 a.m. The S&P ASX 200 was 0.26% higher.

Most share indices on Wall Street ended higher on Monday as a dip-buying fulled a rebound, Bloomberg reported. The Dow Jones Industrial Average and S&P 500 ended 0.86% and 0.16% higher, respectively.

The Nasdaq Composite ended 0.38% down.
