HCLTech Ltd.'s share price traded lower in early trade on Tuesday, as the company's revenue guidance for the current fiscal disappointed. The earnings invited mixed reactions from analysts. Brokerages flagged concerns over weak guidance for the coming quarter, shorter deal durations, and margin pressures.
However, growth potential from HPE’s CTE acquisition, a record deal pipeline and anticipated medium-term recovery were seen as tailwinds.
The HCLTech share price was down 0.8% at Rs 1,830.
Angel One⬇️
Shares of Angel One fell more than 7% after the company reported a decline in its third-quarter earnings. Consolidated total gross revenues for the December quarter stood at Rs 1,263.8 crore, a 16.6% drop from Rs 1,515.6 crore in the three months before.
The Angel One stock was down 1.5% at Rs 2,410.
Adani Energy Solutions ⬆️
Adani Energy Solutions share price soared over 14% in early trade on Tuesday, as the power transmission company secured major orders worth Rs 28,455 crore in the third quarter of the current fiscal, significantly boosting its order book, as per provisional business update.
The stock is up 12.8% at Rs 776.
Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone ⬆️
Adani Ports share price jumped 5.9% after Bernstein reintroduced the stock to its portfolio, following a steep 25% correction that now offers attractive valuations and potential upside.
The stock is up 5.6% at Rs 1,125.
Mahanagar Gas ⬆️
MGL share price rose over 4% in early trade after global brokerage firm Morgan Stanley initiated coverage with 'overweight' and a target price of Rs 1,606 per share. The target price indicates an upside of 25% from the previous close.
The share price is up 4.9% at Rs 1,288.
JSW Energy ⬆️
JSW Energy shares snapped an eight-session losing streak and bounced back on Tuesday, after the committee of creditors approved its resolution plan for KSK Mahanadi Power Co.
KMPCL owns a 3,600-MW thermal power plant in Chhattisgarh, the company said in an exchange filing, and added that currently 1,800 MW (600 MW x 3 units) is operational, with 95% of its capacity tied up in long and medium-term power purchase agreements.
The stock is up 5.6% at Rs 547.
