Q3 Earnings: Coal India, Tata Steel, Indraprastha Gas, Piramal Enterprises Shares React Post Results
Piramal Enterprises shares rose over 7% after the company reported a profit of Rs 38.6 crore in comparison to a loss of Rs 2,738 crore.

The stocks of Coal India Ltd., Tata Steel Ltd., Indraprastha Gas Ltd. and Piramal Enterprises Ltd. are in focus on Tuesday after the companies announced their third-quarter results.
Coal India opened in the negative after reporting a 17% fall in profit to Rs 8,506 crore. However, it was in line with Bloomberg estimates of Rs 8,367.9 crore.
Tata Steel, on the other hand, rose more than 1% after opening in the red on reporting a 36.4% dip in net profit to Rs 327 crore with an exceptional loss of Rs 126 crore.
Indraprastha Gas reported a fall in profit, pulling the stock lower on Tuesday. On the other hand, Piramal Enterprises shares rose over 7% after the company reported a profit of Rs 38.6 crore in comparison to a loss of Rs 2,738 crore.
Sanghi Industries Ltd. reported a reduction in loss at Rs 97 crore in comparison to a loss of Rs 202 crore in the same quarter last year. The shares of the cement maker were trading over 1% higher on Tuesday as its revenue rose 36.9% to Rs 259 crore.

Emami Ltd.'s shares were in the green on the back of 8% rise in net profit to Rs 279 crore in the third quarter of this fiscal. The shares of Bajaj Housing Finance were also trading higher after it reported a 25.4% jump in net profit to Rs 548 crore.
In contrast, the shares of Maharashtra Seamless Ltd. fell due to a 32.6% decline in net profit at Rs 186 crore.
Petronet LNG shares fell nearly 2.51% after the company posted a 2.29% fall in net profit at Rs 867 crore. Astec LifeSciences Ltd. rose over 3% despite the company's loss widening to Rs 40.4 crore.
The shares of Kaynes Technology Ltd. and KRN Heat Exchanger and Refrigeration Ltd. fell nearly 10% and 1%, respectively, despite a surge in profit. The shares of Prudent Corporate Advisors Services Ltd. and Aditya Birla Sun Life AMC Ltd. were trading in the red on Tuesday, while New India Assurance Co. rose nearly 2%.
