Nifty Top Gainers And Losers On March 18: From ICICI Bank To Bharti Airtel And More
ICICI Bank was the top gainer of the day, adding over 64 points to the index.

Nifty recorded its best intraday session since Feb. 4 and Sensex ended 1,100 points higher.
Gains in the Nifty 50 were largely accounted for by financial stocks. ICICI Bank Ltd. was the top gainer of the day, adding over 64 points to the index. HDFC Bank shares followed, contributing nearly 37 points as well.
Larsen & Turbo Ltd., Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. and Infosys Ltd. emerged as strong gainers for the day as well.
The drag was mostly accounted for by Bharti Airtel Ltd., with a 7.09 point pull. Bajaj Finserv Ltd., Tech Mahindra Ltd. and Reliance Industries Ltd. also fell.

The Nifty Midcap 150 ended 2.13% higher, while the Nifty Smallcap 250 closed up 2.65%.
Among sectors, Nifty Media was the top sectoral gainer for the day. The sector was led by TV18 Broadcast, PVR Inox and Dish TV. Nifty Bank recorded the best intraday session since Nov. 25.
Nifty Media snapped its five-day losing streak, while Nifty Realty snapped its three-day losing streak. Nifty FMCG and Oil and Gas ended after two days of closing lower.
Nifty Auto, Metal, Financial Services, Pharma, IT ended higher for the second day in a row. Nifty Bank ended higher for the fourth day in a row.
