due to the pandemic, MSME segment witnessed 20-50% drop in revenues; 47% of MSMEs saw less than 25% decline in the same;
46% of MSMEs experienced tight to severe cash shortage to meet regular payments;
MSME-related unemployment rate stood at 7.1% in November 2021;
65% of MSMEs availed of benefit under Emergency Credit Line Guarantee Scheme; cashflow pressures eased for 61% of them and 35% benefitted from reduced rates;
disbursals to existing to bank MSMEs doubled; credit is picking up for new to bank MSMEs as well;
general outlook is improving for MSMEs; it is not yet back to pre-Covid-19 levels, but liquidity stress is easing.
