KEC International Ltd. has won new orders worth Rs 1,845 crore in its transmission and distribution (T&D) business. The orders have come from clients across India and the Americas, said the company in a press release.
The orders include an engineering, procurement and construction order for a 765 kilo vatt (kV) and 400 kV transmission line from a tariff based competitive building developer in Western and Southern India.

A turnkey order for construction of 400 kV transmission line in South India from Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd. is also part of the deal, the press release added.
To facilitate the Yettinahole integrated water project in South India, KEC secured an order for construction of 400 kV and 220 kV substations across the region.
