Shares of Scoda Tubes Ltd. will make their market debut on Wednesday, June 4. The initial public offering (IPO) of the stainless-steel tubes and pipes manufacturer closed with a strong demand on May 30. Investors who will be allotted their quota of shares will be keeping a close watch on the grey market premium (GMP) of the mainboard issue to get an indication of the listing price.
Following the subscription, the company is scheduled to finalise the IPO share allotment status on Monday, June 2. After finanlisation of IPO allotment status, shares of the company will make their debut on the BSE and NSE.
The mainboard issue of Scoda Tubes Ltd., aimed at raising Rs 220 crore from the primary market, was open for bidding from May 28 to May 30. The book-building issue of Scoda Tubes Ltd. comprised entirely a fresh issue of 1.57 crore shares. Scoda Tubes IPO subscription closed with a robust demand across categories. The mainboard issue was booked 57.37 times.
The IPO price band was fixed at Rs 130 to Rs 140 apiece.

The latest Scoda Tubes IPO GMP stood at Rs 19 per share at 4:00 p.m. on June 2, indicating a potential listing gains of 13.57% per share with an estimated listing price of Rs 157 apiece, compared to the upper end of the price band (Rs 140).
As per the GMP trends, there has been a slight drop in GMP of Scoda Tubes IPO. The GMP was constant at Rs 22 for most of the days but dropped to Rs 20.5 when the IPO closed on Friday.

Scoda Tubes IPO: Use of Proceeds
The company has proposed to utilise the net proceeds for funding its incremental working capital requirements as well as capital expenditure towards the expansion of the production capacity of seamless and welded tubes and pipes. The remaining portion of the IPO funds will be used for general corporate purposes.
