(Bloomberg) -- The global pandemic is taking its toll on the labor market as postings on jobs site Indeed.com slump compared to a year ago. Job seekers in the U.K. and Canada are hardest hit so far, as employers scale back operations amid lockdown measures designed to slow the virus's spread. Hiring for food preparation, service, hospitality and tourism roles have been scaled back most significantly, falling around 70% from the same period last year.
