Tata Consultancy Services Ltd. reappointed Rajesh Gopinathan as managing director and chief executive officer, and extended N Ganapathy Subramaniam's appointment as chief operating officer for five years, effective Feb. 21.

Subramaniam, brother of Tata Group Chairman N Chandrasekaran, was previously reappointed in October 2021. He overlooks strategic client relationships, subsidiary business performance, and drives the tools, patents, products and platforms portfolio, the company said in an exchange filing.

Gopinathan was appointed in 2017 as the CEO and MD after Chandrasekaran was named head of parent Tata Sons Pvt.

TCS' market capitalisation increased to Rs 14.19 trillion ($190 billion) during Gopinathan and Subramaniam's tenure, the company said. Over the last four years, its revenues also jumped from $17.6 billion to $22.2 billion.
