SpiceJet has put up 1 lakh tickets on sale at a base fare of just Re 1 (excluding taxes and fees). This SpiceJet offer is applicable on return tickets only. Tickets under this offer can be purchased only through SpiceJet's mobile app.
This SpiceJet sale is not available through other channels, the airline said in a statement.
This SpiceJet offer will close on July 17. The travel period covered in this sale is from July 15, 2015, to March 31, 2016.
SpiceJet's offer comes in the wake of an ongoing fare war in Indian skies. IndiGo is offering tickets from Rs 1,458 on advance bookings. Jet Airways has launched a promotional scheme, with tickets starting from Rs 1,493.
Low-cost carrier AirAsia India had earlier launched a promotional offer with fares starting from Rs 990.
