(Bloomberg) -- Jack Dorsey said Friday that Square Inc. is considering building a Bitcoin mining system that would be based on “custom silicon and open source for individuals and businesses worldwide.”
Dorsey said in a thread on Twitter that the company would follow a hardware wallet model and “build in the open in collaboration with the community.”
