New Delhi: IL&FS Engineering and Construction Company on Saturday reported a standalone net loss of Rs 81.87 crore for the quarter ended September 30.
Net loss in the year-ago period was Rs 37.89 crore, IL&FS Engineering and Construction Company Ltd said in a regulatory filing.
Total income from operations dropped to Rs 352.07 crore from Rs 556.86 crore in the year-ago period.
The company has demonstrated its capabilities in sectors such as roads, thermal and hydel power projects among others.
It has initiated forays into new business segments, including airports, seaports, oil and gas-pipelines, refineries and petrochemicals.
