(Bloomberg) -- The Federal Communications Commission granted IHeartMedia Inc.'s request for foreign ownership to exceed a 25% benchmark.
Granting the request is in the public interest in part because it would put the owner of more than 850 radio broadcast licenses in a stronger financial position, the FCC said in an emailed order Thursday.
