British Airways today joined the low fare war race today by offering an all-inclusive fares starting at Rs 65,880 for select destinations in North America and Canada for a limited period.
"The all-inclusive fares starts at just Rs 65,880 for tickets booked between August 5 and 31, for select cities in North America and Canada for travel period till December 31," British Airways said while announcing the offer.
The UK's national carrier currently operates 48 flights a week from London Heathrow to Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Bangalore and Hyderabad.
Globally, the airline's route network at present serves more than 170 destinations in 75 countries.
Late last month, Etihad, which holds 24 per cent stake in Naresh Goyal's Jet Airways, had announced a 20 per cent to 50 per cent special limited period discount on fares across 135 international destinations of the two carriers.
Etihad's rival airline Emirates followed suite by offering fares starting at Rs 21,858 for economy class and Rs 52,312 for business class fliers to the Middle East, Europe, Americas as well as Africa.
British Airways' extensive flight network connects over 500 destinations with American Airlines and through this special offer passengers can witness premium travel experience, he said.
