"Today, the rescue operation for tourists stranded in Lachung began. A total of 1,678 tourists are being safely evacuated, along with 284 vehicles and 16 bikers. We take immense satisfaction in ensuring their safety," Sachdeva told PTI.

An unknown vehicle crashed into a car near Narayanpur village, in which two people were killed and five injured, PTI reported.
