New Delhi: Amtek Auto on Monday reported a net loss of Rs 528.69 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2016, hit by a decline in sales.
The auto component maker had posted a net profit of Rs 129.82 crore for the corresponding period a year ago, it said in a filing to the BSE.
Income from operations stood at Rs 608.75 crore as compared with Rs 908.09 crore in the year-ago period - a fall of 32.96 per cent.
Shares in Amtek Auto, on Monday, ended 1.17 per cent higher at Rs 34.65 apiece on the BSE, whose benchmark Sensex index finished up 0.27 per cent.
