AirAsia India is offering all-inclusive fares starting from Rs 1,249 under a promotional scheme aimed at the summer season. In its "Cool Fares This Summer" scheme, AirAsia India is offering discounted fares to destinations including Bengaluru, Kochi, Goa, Hyderabad, Delhi, Pune and Vishakhapatnam, the airline - which competes with the likes of Air India, IndiGo, Jet Airways and SpiceJet in the Indian market - said on its website. Double-digit growth in air passenger traffic has given a boost to airlines in the domestic market in the past few months, leading to added competition in tariffs across the sector, say analysts.
AirAsia India's summer sale requires advance booking and "fares are not available during embargo period", the airline said on its website. Bookings to avail AirAsia India's offer - applicable on travel till September 30, 2017 - can be made till April 23, 2017, it added.
Some of the routes covered in this AirAsia India's scheme include Bengaluru-Kochi at all-inclusive fares from Rs 1,949, Pune-Bengaluru from Rs 2,049, Bagdogra-New Delhi from Rs 2,599, Srinagar-New Delhi from Rs 2,499, Visakhapatnam-Bengaluru from Rs 1,929, Hyderabad-Goa from Rs 1,869 and Hyderabad-Bengaluru from Rs 1,499. The lowest all-inclusive fare from Rs 1,249 is being offered on the Guwahati-Imphal route, as per the AirAsia website.
A search on AirAsia's website on Monday showed tickets for a flight from Guwahati to Imphal on April 18 were being offered from Rs 2,139.
