Cement maker ACC reported revenue of Rs 2,869 crore for the June quarter, 3 percent lower than the same quarter last year. The figure was lower than the Bloomberg consensus estimate of Rs 3,050 crore.
Net profit rose 80 percent to Rs 237.83 crore compared to the previous quarter, but still fell short of analyst estimate of Rs 246 crore.
EBITDA margin rose to 15.9 percent from 11.2 percent in the same quarter last year.
The board of directors approved an interim dividend of Rs 11 per equity share of Rs 10 each.
