Tata Motors Launches Harrier EV: Check Electric SUV’s Price, Features, Variants and More

Tata Motors launched the Harrier.ev, an all-electric SUV, on June 3. The company calls it the country’s most powerful, capable and intelligent electric SUV to date.
According to Tata Motors, Harrier.ev combines rugged capability with refined luxury and advanced technology. “From conquering untamed terrains to gliding through urban landscapes, the Harrier.ev envelops every journey in a cocoon of unmatched luxury,” Tata Motors said in a press release.
Tata Harrier EV: Price And Variants
The Harrier.ev is available at an introductory ex-showroom price of Rs 21.49 lakh in Mumbai. The price doesn’t cover the cost of the charger or its installation. Customers can choose from two battery pack options — 65 kWh and 75 kWh — offering a real-world driving range of 480 to 505 km. Tata Motors offers a lifetime warranty on the battery pack. The vehicle is available in four colour options.
Powertrain And Performance
At the heart of the Harrier.ev lies Tata’s upgraded acti.ev+ architecture, paired with a powerful QWD (Quad-Wheel Drive) system. This dual-motor setup delivers 504 Nm of torque and propels the SUV from 0 to 100 km/h in a segment-best 6.3 seconds. The vehicle offers six terrain modes — Normal, Grass/Snow, Mud/Gravel, Sand, Rock Crawl and Custom — along with Boost Mode, Drift Mode and Off-Road Assist, allowing it to traverse varied landscapes.
Charging capabilities are also impressive, with fast charging at 1.5C delivering up to 250 km worth of range in just 15 minutes.

The Harrier.ev introduces a host of segment-first and world-first innovations. Highlights include:
Digi Access with Ultra-Wide Band (UWB) for hands-free unlocking.
Digital Key compatibility with smartphones and smartwatches.
Smart Card and Remote Key with 11 smart commands.
E-Valet, Summon Mode and Auto Park Assist, allowing the vehicle to park itself, including into custom parking spaces.
Reverse Assist retraces the last 50 metres in reverse, aiding tricky manoeuvres.
A 540° Surround View System offers visibility even beneath the car, thanks to its Transparent Mode.
The HD rear-view mirror doubles as a built-in dashcam with high-resolution front and rear feeds.
