The Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) of Iran has released video footage of drones being launched towards Israel and the Gulf countries. The video has been posted by a few news outlets, including the Clash Report.
The 35-second grainy video was shot by what looks like a hidden camera. A couple of drones can be seen launched, following intense sloganeering by the forces' personnel.
This footage has emerged from Iran amid a near-complete nationwide internet blackout that has now extended beyond a week, as per CNBC.
“The measure remains in place, leaving the public isolated without vital updates and alerts while officials and state media retain access,” CNBC quoted data monitoring site NetBlocks as saying.
The war started on February 28 as the United States (US) and Israel attacked Tehran with airstrikes. Iran's Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, was killed on the same day. His son, Mujtaba Khamenei, has taken his place today.
Tehran, however, has been proactively targeting Gulf countries, including the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Kuwait, and Saudi Arabia, among others, as well as Israel, following strikes on Tehran.

Tehran has attacked some vital installations, including energy companies, airports, residential areas, US bases, and some desalination plants, in its attacks on the Gulf countries.
Many energy companies have been forced to curtail operations and declare force majeure, following the attacks and incidents of fire in refineries, including at least one such fire in Saudi Arabia and another one in Bahrain. Oil and gas production has been severely disrupted, following these attacks, while airspace has been shut down in the Gulf countries. Iran's closure of the Strait of Hormuz has further put pressure on the global oil and gas supplies.
The Gulf countries have not retaliated against Iran, but have kept condemning the attacks, with Saudi Arabia calling the attacks “reprehensible”.
Qatar's Prime Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani urged all sides to de-escalate in an interview with Sky News.“We will continue talking to the Iranians, we will continue trying to seek de-escalation,” the prime minister said. He described the attacks on Qatar as a “big sense of betrayal” by the Iranian leadership.
Iran has also been carrying out air attacks deep into Tel Aviv in Israel, where severe damage has been caused to infrastructure.
Iran, meanwhile, has maintained that more than 1200 people have been killed in the attacks by the US and Israel on Tehran, while more than 12000 have been wounded in the ten days of war.
