The war US, Israel, and Iran entered into its ninth day on Sunday. 

US President Donald Trump said he does not neeed UK to send aircraft carriers to the Middle East for a war "they have already won." 

The United States struck more than 3,000 targets during the first week of the Iran war, the US military said on Friday. Iran targeted Qatar with 10 drones, Doha's defence ministry said in a statement as the Islamic republic pressed its air campaign against Gulf states.

The Israeli military announced that it has killed Hezbollah commander Zaid Ali Jumaa in Beirut. Lebanon was pulled into the rapidly escalating conflict on Monday after Iran‑backed Hezbollah launched attacks on Israel in retaliation for the killing of Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei.

US-Iran War Live Updates: IRGC Says It Hit Kuwait's Al-Adiri Airbase

Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC) claims that its forces targeted Al-Adiri airbase in Kuwait with drones and missiles, according to the Fars news agency.

The report quoted IRGC as saying that the base destroyed US helicopter repair centres, fuel tanks and command centre.

“After this wave of attack, a terrible fire broke out in this base, and thick, black smoke is still rising from this base and can be seen from far away,” the report said.

At least four tanker drivers have been killed in Israel’s attacks on Iranian oil depots in Tehran and the province of Alborz, according to the Fars news agency.

The Israeli attacks hit four oil storage facilities and one oil production transfer centre in Tehran and Alborz, it said.

Despite the attack, “there is no shortage of fuel distribution” and security forces “are currently engaged in firefighting operations,” it said.
