IMF Cuts India's FY26 GDP Growth Forecast
The International Monetary Fund forecasts India’s GDP growth for the financial year 2026 at 6.2%, 30 basis points lower than January's projection this year, according to the latest edition of the Global Economic Outlook. For FY27, IMF forecasts India’s growth at 6.3%, 20 basis points power than the forecast from January.

IndusInd Bank Sees New Accounting Issue
Private sector lender IndusInd Bank Ltd., disclosed that it has detected 'certain concerns' in its microfinance portfolio and that an internal audit is underway. "As a part of the process of finalisation of accounts, the Bank’s Internal Audit Department is conducting a review of the Bank’s MFI business, to examine certain concerns which have been brought to the Bank’s attention," bank told exchanges.

Ather Energy Ltd. is set to launch its much delayed initial public offering by the end of this month, albeit at a smaller size. The Ather Energy IPO will open for subscription on April 28 and close on April 30, according to the red herring prospectus with the Securities and Exchange Board of India.
