Billionaire Gautam Adani’s son Jeet Adani is set to marry Diva Shah on Feb. 7, and the wedding has already become the talk of the town. The Adani Group chairperson confirmed the date of the wedding last month during his visit to Prayagraj with his family for Maha Kumbh.
Adani said that Jeet’s wedding would be a simple event.
“We are like common people. Jeet came here to take Ma Ganga's blessings. His marriage will happen in a simple and traditional way,” he told reporters at Prayagraj on Jan. 21.

The clarification has put to rest the rumours which claimed that an array of global celebrities have been invited for Jeet Adani's wedding with Diva Shah, the daughter of Surat-based diamond merchant Jaimin Shah. The wedding is scheduled in Ahmedabad on Feb. 7.
Speaking after performing the Ganga Aarti with his family at Prayagraj’s Triveni Sangam, Adani said, “My upbringing and our way of doing things are that of a common person from the working class. Jeet too is here for Ma Ganga’s blessings. The wedding will be a simple and traditional family affair.”
Venue Details
While pre-wedding festivities started on Feb. 5, the wedding ceremony of Jeet Adani and Diva Shah is set to take place in Ahmedabad on Feb. 7. The couple has been engaged since March 2023.
According to reports, Jeet Adani’s wedding is not expected to have more than 300 guests. However, no official number has been put out yet.

The idea of incorporating such a thoughtful gesture came from Jeet Adani, who is known for supporting people with disabilities, according to the news agency. The NGO is also making hand-painted wedding essentials, including glassware, plates, and accessories.

The wedding celebrates artisans from across India, who are coming together to create elements that will add a cultural and personal touch to the affair. The wedding will be an ode to the artistic heritage of India.
Paithani sarees for wedding guests by artisans from Nashik, mudwork murals by Nitaben from Mundra, and traditional bangles from Bibaji Choori Wala in Jodhpur will also feature in the wedding.
