'Ee Sala Cup Namde': Drake Bets Rs 6.4 Crore On Royal Challengers Bengaluru Ahead Of IPL 2025 Final
IPL 2025 Final: Drake shared a screenshot of his bet on the Royal Challengers Bengaluru. The rapper has staked Rs 6.4 crore on RCB's win.

Will Virat Kohli be able to end his wait for an IPL trophy? Don’t know about you, but it seems Drake is quite confident about the Royal Challengers Bengaluru’s potential. The Canadian rapper has placed a bet of $750,000 (Rs 6.4 crore approx ) on the franchise.
Drake shared a screenshot of his bet, which he placed via the crypto platform Stake, on Instagram. The odds of RCB’s victory are 1.75. This means that Drake stands to win $1.3 million (Rs 11.1 crore) if the Bengaluru-based side triumphs.
Drake’s post was shared with the caption, “Ee sala cup namde [This time cup is ours].”

RCB, who stormed into the final after defeating Punjab Kings in Qualifiers 1, will eye to repeat their performance against the Shreyas Iyer-led side.
Drake’s IPL Bets
This is not the first time the Grammy winner has sided with an IPL team. In 2024, he supported the Kolkata Knight Riders in the final against Sunrisers Hyderabad.
KKR ended up winning the championship for the third time, reversing the so-called "Drake Curse" that has been associated with the rapper for a long time. The Hotline Bling singer has often placed big bets on sports teams, with most of the squads he’s supported losing the game.
RCB fans will be hoping that the rapper’s bet proves lucky for them this time, just like it did for KKR in 2024.
IPL Final 2025: RCB vs PBKS
This IPL final is extra special for fans since it will crown a new champion, no matter which side wins. The match will kick off at 7:30 p.m. at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.
For RCB, this is their fourth IPL final. Led by Rajat Patidar, the Bengaluru-based franchise have been methodical the entire season. The side lost only four of their 14 games at the league stage.
In Qualifier 1, they managed to beat Punjab Kings without breaking a sweat. Virat Kohli has been phenomenal with the bat once again this season for RCB, with 614 runs in 14 fixtures. RCB also have the likes of Josh Hazlewood, who was vital in their victory against the Punjab Kings in Qualifier 1.
As for Punjab Kings, they have been dominating the tournament from the start. The Shreyas Iyer-led side has proved to be aggressive in chasing down high targets, as their performance against the Mumbai Indians in Qualifier 2 proves. PBKS will be hoping to end their dream run with an IPL trophy.
The IPL 2025 final will take place at Ahmedabad’s Narendra Modi Stadium from 7:30 pm on June 3.
