Even as the Apple iPhone 16e launched on Wednesday, everyone was expecting iPhone SE 4, there are quite a few launches still pending in the near future. Among them are Google Pixel 9a and Nothing Phone (3a). And now, Nothing has confirmed that the Phone (3a) series will launch on March 4 at 10 AM GMT. According to earlier teasers, the lineup will consist of two models namely Phone (3a) and Phone (3a) Pro.
Apart from the launch date, Nothing has provided details on the camera setup, including a look at the unique camera design on what looks like the Pro model.
Camera Upgrades
The Nothing Phone (3a) Pro will include a quad camera including:
50MP main camera with optical image stabilization (OIS)
50MP telephoto lens with periscope zoom
8MP ultra-wide camera (Sony-made)
50MP front camera
The periscope lens will provide 3x optical zoom, 6x in-sensor zoom and 60x "ultra" zoom, with a 70mm focal length.
Compared with Nothing Phone (2a’s) main camera, the new one has a larger 50MP sensor that captures 64 per cent more light.
Nothing released a video revealing the camera's abilities of the Nothing Phone (3a) Pro against the Apple iPhone 16 Pro Max.
AI and Video Features
In this new series, TrueLens Engine 3.0 uses AI tone mapping and scene detection to produce natural photos.
The main and front cameras also enable 4K video recording, with improved stabilization, and night mode, and all four cameras support Ultra HDR.

The Nothing Phone (3a) line will feature:
Snapdragon 7S Gen 3 processor
6.72-inch AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate
IP64 rating for dust and splash resistance
5,000mAh battery
The 3a is expected to have 2x zoom and the Pro 3x zoom with periscope optics.
Details will be revealed at the March 4 launch event.
