Nothing Phone 3a Series: Essential Key Now Works With Camera App—New Features Explained
A key upgrade includes integration of 'Essential Key' within the Nothing Camera app, aimed at giving users a superior camera experience

Smartphone maker Nothing has announced the release of Nothing operating system (OS) 3.1 for its newly launched Phone (3a) and Phone (3a) Pro. The update will bring significant improvements to the OS, giving users an enhanced interface experience. The update rolled out globally from Mar. 24 onwards.
According to a blog shared by Nothing Community, one of the key upgrades includes the integration of 'Essential Key' within the Nothing Camera app. This feature is aimed at giving users a superior camera experience by capturing content and adding notes or voice input with a short or long press. “This means users can easily separate their photography from their Essential Space photo reminders,” Nothing said.
To update their phone with the latest software version, users are advised to connect to the internet and perform the OTA.
