Ahead of the launch of the iPhone 17 series during the Fall and the Apple WWDC event in the Summer (likely in June), a number of new products are to be released quite soon, and probably that will be as early as this week, Mark Gurman of Bloomberg has claimed in his latest newsletter. According to Gurman, these releases include a new M4 MacBook Air, along with new Apple iPad Air and entry-level iPad models.

Apple had recently debuted the iPhone 16e—replacing the iPhone SE—thereby expanding the iPhone 16 lineup that was launched last September. However, according to reports, there were other major Spring releases anticipated from the Cupertino-based tech giant.

M4 MacBook Air To Launch This Week?

Gurman noted that the MacBook Air launch is "imminent," adding that a Mac-related announcement might be made as early as this week. This hinted at the possibility of a new MacBook Air powered by the M4 chip.

M4 MacBook Air expected features include:

  • M4 chip

  • 13-inch and 15-inch sizes

  • 16GB RAM for AI support

  • 12MP forward-facing camera along with Center Stage software support

  • Support for two external displays simultaneously with lid open

  • Nano-texture display to cut glare

  • Thunderbolt 4 port

iPad Refreshes Soon

Refreshes in the iPad models may be announced a little later, Gurman said. The iPad lineup is expected to include a new iPad Air and iPad 11.

According to Gurman, the current entry-level iPad and M2 iPad Air models are running low in supply, which strongly suggests that a refresh is imminent for these iPad models. Notably, ahead of the iPhone 16e launch, the stock of iPhone SE had also started to decline. That mostly happens whenever a new product is expected to launch else the inventory is always full up to keep the supply constant.

Expected iPad 11 features:

  • A17 Pro chip (or M3 chip)

  • 8GB RAM for supporting AI features

  • 10.9-inch display with ‌iPad‌ Air-like design

  • USB-C port plus Apple Pencil support

  • Apple’s in-house 5G modem

  • Wi-Fi 6E/7 support

  • Bluetooth 5.3

  • 5G support

  • Magic Keyboard

  • New accessories

Expected iPad Air Features:

  • M3/M4 chip

  • 11-inch and 13-inch sizes

  • Apple-made 5G modem

  • Magic Keyboard

  • 90Hz display

  • Wi-Fi 7 support
