Google Pixel 9a first look just got revealed! Official press renders of the Pixel 9a smartphone have surfaced in an Android Headlines report, showing us a clear look at the design. What grabs the viewer at the start are the striking Google Pixel 9a colors-Peony, Iris, Obsidian, and Porcelain. After feasting your eyes on the colors, attention shifts to there being no camera bar and LED flash being relocated. And know that it may pack smaller bottom bezel than its predecessor Pixel 8a. Do all these qualify as big changes that could take on smartphones rolled out by Apple and Samsung or even various other Chinese counterparts? And then there are the upcoming Apple iPhone SE 4, and Nothing Phone 3a.
Google Pixel 9a Display And Performance
The Pixel 9a is set to pack a 6.28-inch FHD+ OLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate and up to 2700 nits of maximum brightness aimed at increased visibility.
It will also have the Google Tensor G4 processor, along with 8GB LPDDR5X RAM and 128GB or 256GB storage (UFS 3.1).
As far as OS is concerned, the phone will be launched with Android 15. Significantly, to keep the smartphone fresh even as it grows older, it will be backed by seven years of security and features updates.
Google Pixel 9a Camera And Features
Google Pixel 9a is said to offer a 48MP main camera with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS), along with a 13MP ultra-wide lens for photography. The 13MP front camera is for ultra-wide selfies. There is 4K 60fps video recording supported on the rear and 4K 30fps on the front.
It also has an in-display fingerprint sensor, stereo speakers, USB Type C, and IP68 water and dust resistance. It is set to feature connectivity with 5G, Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.3, NFC, and GPS.
Google Pixel 9a battery is a 5100mAh monster that is capable of supporting 23W wired charging and 7.5W wireless charging.
Google Pixel 9a Price And Launch Date
According to reports, Google Pixel 9a price for the 128GB will be $499 (Rs 43,290), while the 256GB model will cost $599 (Rs 51,965).
Google Pixel 9a launch date is March 19 and shipping will begin on March 26. Notably, Google has preponed the launch by a few weeks vis a vis the date picked for Pixel 8a last year. This may well have to do with the fact that the affordable Apple iPhone SE 4 is set to launch next week and thereafter, Nothing Phone 3a.
