Tata Metaliks Q2 Review - Long Term Story Remains Intact: ICICI Direct

ICICI Direct Report

Tata Metaliks Ltd. reported a subdued operational performance in Q2 FY22 on the back of higher-than-expected operating costs. 

Tata Metaliks reported revenue of Rs 645 crore, up 24% YoY and 7% QoQ.

Ebitda was at Rs 100 crore, down 9% YoY, 35% QoQ. Ebitda margin was at 15.5%, down 560 basis points YoY, 1000 bps QoQ.

During the quarter, Ebitda, Ebitda margin were muted due to higher iron ore cost (on account of increased royalty) and elevated coking coal cost.

Ensuing profit after tax stood at Rs 55 crore (down 33% YoY and 42% QoQ).
