KRChoksey Report

Avanti Feeds global shrimp demand may decline 10-15% in this year as there will be lower off-take by HoReCa (Hotel Restaurant Cafe) and lower cultivation and processing of shrimps. Though there will be higher impact in H1FY21, the demand is expected to recover in H2FY21

Prior to Covid-19, Avanti used to sell 60-70% of shrimps to food service companies aggregators and rest in retail markets. With lockdown, the off-take by retail outlets has increased. Company's current revenue breakup is 15% sales to food service companies and rest to retail outlets.
