ONGC Q3 Results: Date, Time, Dividend Declaration And Other Key Details

State-run oil producer Oil and Natural Gas Corp. will declare its financial statements for the December 2024 quarter this week. According to Bloomberg estimates, the state-run company may see a slight dip in its revenues and profit for Q3 amid expectations of higher crude oil and gas sales getting offset by lower realisation. 

ONGC is the largest crude oil and natural gas producer in India, with a market cap of over Rs 3.13 lakh crore. The company contributes to around 71% of domestic production of oil and natural gas.

ONGC Q3 Results: Date And Time

ONGC is set to announce its Q3 results on Friday, Jan. 31, the company said in a stock exchange filing on Jan. 13.

"It is hereby informed that a meeting of Board of Directors of the Company is scheduled to be held on Friday, the 31st January, 2025, inter-alia, to consider and approve the following business items:-  Un-Audited Financial Results (Standalone and Consolidated) for the Quarter and Nine Months ended 31st December, 2024," ONGC said.

ONGC Interim Dividend Record Date

ONGC's board of directors will also consider the dividend recommendation during their Jan. 31 meeting. The company has set Friday, Feb. 7, as the record date to declare the second interim dividend for eligible shareholders. 

"It is hereby informed that Friday, 7th February, 2025 has been fixed as 'Record Date' for determining eligibility of members for payment of 2nd Interim Dividend, if any, declared at the Board meeting scheduled to be held on 31st January, 2025," the company stated in a filing on Jan. 23.

The board of directors of ONGC in November approved the first interim dividend for FY25 at Rs 6 per share. The record date for determining shareholder eligibility had been set for Nov. 20.

Shares of Oil and Natural Gas Corp. have fallen by 4.83% on the NSE in the last five trading sessions. Over the past month, the shares have risen by 7.17% but fallen more than 25% in the last six months. ONGC shares have dipped 1.25% in the past year on the NSE.

ONGC Q2 Results

Oil and Natural Gas Corp.'s net profit saw a 0.69% sequential increase in the second quarter of fiscal 2025. The state-run crude oil producer's consolidated net profit rose to Rs 9,878.44 crore for the quarter ending September, compared to Rs 9,810 crore in the preceding three months.
