All We Imagine As Light secured two nominations at the Annual Golden Globes Awards 2025. The Payal Kapadia-directed drama is nominated in the categories of 'Best Director Motion Picture' and 'Best Non-English Language Motion Picture'.

Notably, the 82nd Annual Golden Globes Awards will be hosted by Nikki Glaser on Jan 5, 2025. The event will be held in California.

All We Imagine As Light is co-produced by France's Petit Chaos and India's Chalk and Cheese Films. The Malayalam-Hindi film scripted history in May by becoming the first from India to win the Grand Prix award at the Cannes Film Festival.

All We Imagine as Light stars Kani Kusruti, Divya Prabha and Chhaya Kadam. The movie explores love, longing and loneliness in the bustling city of Mumbai through three women, which includes two Malayali nurses—Prabha and Anu—and their friend Parvati.

Kapadia's film released in Indian theatres on Nov. 22 to positive reviews.

Earlier on Dec. 4, Kapadia's film was named the best international film by New York Film Critics Circle just days after the movie won in the same category at the Gotham Awards.

The movie had also won the Jury Grand Prize at the Asia Pacific Screen Awards 2024. It has also been selected as the best film of the year by Sight and Sound magazine.
