(Bloomberg) -- President Donald Trump says John Bolton appears to be trying to sell books, denying that he ever told his former national security adviser that aid to Ukraine was conditioned on investigations into Democrats including Joe and Hunter Biden.
The Bolton claim, as reported by the New York Times, directly contradicts Republican assertions Trump held up the aid for reasons other than political gain. This issue is at the heart of impeachment against the president.
