Prime Minister Narendra Modi today pushed citizens to adopt mobile banking to tide over the temporary disruptions caused by demonetisation. Modi was addressing a public rally in Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh.
He asked holders of the Jan Dhan accounts not to withdraw money deposited by black marketeers in their accounts. He pledged to go after those who have been using Jan Dhan accounts to deposit their black money.

Modi also challenged his opponents. Those who used to chant money, money, money are now ranting Modi, Modi, Modi...What can my opponents do to me?, he asked. I am a fakir (hermit) and I will exit with my little belongings, Modi said while addressing the crowd at the parivartan rally.

The government will use the tax raised from the current exercise to invest in schemes for the poor. To eradicate poverty from country, poverty has to be removed first from big states like Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Maharashtra and West Bengal, Modi added.
For 70 years people have queued up for essential items. This queue outside banks is the last queue to end all the queues, Modi said, referring to the hardship faced by the citizens.
