(Bloomberg) -- A magnitude 6.3 earthquake hit off the coast of Japan's southern island of Kyushu at 8:48 AM local time, Japan Meteorological Agency says.
- Strong shaking of 5- on Japan's scale of 7 felt in Miyazaki Prefecture
- Depth of quake 20km, no threat of tsunami
- No immediate reports of damage
