Pandharpur Wari Palki Yatra 2025: Check Schedule, Route, Traffic Restrictions And Other Key Details
The main procession of this annual festival started on June 18 from Dehu and Alandi in Pune district. It will end in Solapur’s Pandharpur on Ashadhi Ekadashi on July 6.

Pandharpur Wari Palki Yatra, a sacred pilgrimage in Maharashtra, began on Wednesday with millions of devotees preparing to honour Lord Vitthal for the next two weeks. In this procession, millions of devotees of Lord Vitthal walk for days singing devotional songs and carrying Palkis, or palanquins.
The main procession of this key festival started from Dehu and Alandi in the Pune district. It will end in Solapur’s Pandharpur on Ashadhi Ekadashi on July 6.
The religious festival holds immense spiritual significance for the people of Maharashtra. During this festival, devotees participate in two major Palki Yatras: Sant Tukaram Maharaj’s Palkhi from Dehu and Sant Dnyaneshwar Maharaj’s Palki from Alandi.
During the festival, devotees honour the legacy of Sant Tukaram and Sant Dnyaneshwar. The revered saints are known for promoting devotion, humility and social equality. Sant Dnyaneshwar is also known for his book ‘Dnyaneshwari’, a Marathi commentary on the Bhagavad Gita.

Chimbli to Alandi Road closed - Use Jai Ganesh Samrajya Chowk, Alankapuram Chowk, Bhosari Chowk-Magazine Chowk
Wadgaon Ghenand to Alandi Road closed – Use Koyali-Markalgaon
Markal to Alandi Road closed – Use Dhanore Phata-Charholi Phata-Magazine Chowk/Alankapuram Chowk
Bharatmata Chowk-Alandi Road closed – Use Bharatmata Chowk- Moshi Chowk-Panjarpol Chowk and Alankapuram Chowk

According to the Pimpri-Chinchwad police, these diversions, which started from noon on Wednesday, will remain in force until 9 p.m. on June 20, or the time Palkis cross the district.
