Stock Market Live: Nifty Above 25,100, Sensex Up 200 Points; Trent Declines 2%, LG Electronics IPO In Focus

In terms of volumes, names like Vodafone, Nykaa, Saamaan Capital are buzzing in trade today.

The Nifty 50 pack as of 1:00 p.m. was led by names like Jio Finance, Eicher Motors, Bharti Airtel with nearly 2% gains.

Trent continued to drag the index as the counter was down nearly 2% followed by Axis Bank and Tata Motors.

The much-anticipated IPO of Electronics giant LG India was launched on Tuesday, October 7. Its parent, LG Electronics Inc., will divest more than 10 crore equity shares via an OFS, marking its strategic stake sale in the Indian arm.

The LG Electronics India IPO is one of the biggest upcoming IPOs in India’s consumer electronics market. The IPO of LG Electronics India will look to raise Rs 813.07 crore through a book-built issue. The market capitalization of the LG Electronics IPO is Rs 77,380.05 crore.

The shares of Shyam Metalics slipped lower after the company's business updated. In September, the Stainless Steel Sales was down 11.4% at 7,240 Tonnes year-on-year. The Stainless Steel Average Realisation was up 8.2% at Rs 1.37 Lakh per tonne.

The scrip was trading 1.76% lower at Rs 942.45 on the NSE. This decline compared to a 0.32% advance in the Nifty 50.

BMW Ventures shares hit had the lower circuit as it slipped below Rs 65.17. The scrip declined nearly 10% this week.

The D-Street debut with shares settling at Rs 80 on the BSE and Rs 78 on the NSE. The discounted listing came below the issue price of Rs 99.
