Stock Market Today: All You Need To Know Going Into Trade On April 11

Stocks wavered amid worries about inflation and monetary tightening on Monday.

Equities fell in Japan and fluctuated in South Korea and Australia. U.S. futures declined as pressure continues after the Federal Reserve signaled sharp interest-rate hikes and balance-sheet reduction to tackle price pressures. The Singapore-traded SGX Nifty, an early barometer of India's benchmark Nifty 50, fell 0.32% to 17,837 points as of 7:20 a.m.

Emmanuel Macron's lead in the first round of the French presidential vote aided the euro. Crude oil retreated while Bitcoin fell to about $42,100.
