Stock Market Today: Sensex, Nifty End Mixed As IndusInd Bank's Losses Offset ICICI Bank's Gains

• Nifty and Sensex end mixed on Tuesday with Nifty ending in green and Sensex in the red.

• Intraday, both Nifty and Sensex had fallen over 0.60%.

• Nifty ends 0.17% or 37.60 points up at 22,497.90.

• Sensex ends 0.02% or 12.85 points lower at 74,102.32.

• Broader indices also closed mixed. Nifty Midcap 150 ended 0.42% higher; Nifty Smallcap 250 closed 0.65% lower.

• Most sectoral indices rose with Nifty realty and Nifty oil and gas rising the most. Nifty Bank and Nifty IT led the decline.

• The market breadth was skewed in the favour of sellers, as 2,469 stocks declined, 1,499 advanced and 124 remained unchanged on the BSE.

• ICICI Bank, Bharti Airtel, Reliance Industries, Sun Pharma and Trent emerged as the top gainers for the day.

• On the other hand, IndusInd Bank, Infosys, Mahindra and Mahindra, Axis Bank and HUL were the worst performers of the Nifty 50 index.
