Stock Market Today: Nifty Snaps Longest Losing Streak In 29 Years; Sensex Closes Over 73,700
The Nifty 50 rose 0.32% up at 22,153.95 snapping its 10-day decline streak and the Sensex was up 0.33% at 73,230.80.

Stock Market At Closing
Nifty and Sensex end higher on Wednesday.
Intraday, both Nifty and Sensex had risen nearly 2%.
Nifty ends 1.20% or 264.85 points up at 22,347.50.
Sensex ends 1.07% or 779.45 points higher at 73,730.23.
Broader indices also closed higher. Nifty Midcap 150 ended 2.43% higher; Nifty Smallcap 250 closed 2.71% higher.
All sectoral indices rose with Nifty metal and Nifty Media in the lead.
Bharti Airtel, Mahindra and Mahindra, ITC, RIL and Infosys emerged as the top gainers for the day.
On the other hand, HDFC Bank, Bajaj Finance, IndusInd Bank, Shriram Finance and Grasim Industries were the worst performers of the Nifty 50 index.











India Set To Meet 2030 Clean Energy Target Despite Hurdles: Suzlon Energy CEO
India is on track to achieve the ambitious target of 500 GW renewable energy by 2030, despite the hurdles, according to Suzlon Energy’s Chief Executive Officer, JP Chalasani.
The slowdown in power purchase agreements (PPAs) and quarterly performance of industry players could be a temporary trend and it won’t affect the sector in the long run, the CEO said in an interaction with NDTV Profit.

The Ebitda and earning per share estimates of Indian pharma companies are likely to take a hit in the likely scenario of tariffs being imposed by the US, according to Goldman Sachs. Impact on operating profit is likely to range from 3-13% on an average, assuming 25% tariffs, the brokerage said.
